8 Expectation vs. Reality of Eid Shopping!

Eid is a gift to Muslims by Allah to celebrate their fasting and to bid farewell to the holy month. But these Eid shopping realities is a hard nut to crack!

After the month of Ramadan, Eid is a gift to the Muslims by Allah to celebrate their fasting and it’s a way to say goodbye to the holy month Ramadan. At the time of Eid, we all get excited because of shopping. This is the biggest holy event where we have to look good at parties. The expectation and reality of eid shopping are very different, we think that we will do the shopping with peace and comfort but at the time of visiting malls you will see totally different things.

Let’s have a look at our expectation vs reality of eid shopping:

1. Trendy Designs:

Of course, all of us wants to look fashionable and stylish on the Eid day and for this purpose we search for the trendy and unique designs to look different, but we always end up buying the same Anarkali suit that we already have in our wardrobe.

2. Budget:

All of us set a budget for the Eid shopping and wants to buy every beautiful dress within our range, but at the time of Eid shopping the prices of the dresses are too high that we can only buy a dress and a pair of shoe in it.

3. Crowd In Malls:

We expect to do shopping with the peace and imagine ourselves doing shopping without any crowd, but in reality the malls and markets are full of heads and it’s very hard to even enter in a shop. We always come to home after getting injured due to the crowd. Right?

4. Online Dress Catalogue:

Before going for the Eid shopping we search for the best designs over the internet in the catalogue of well-known designers, but when we reach the outlet they are already out of stock or the dress is not up to the mark.

5. To Finish Before Time:

We expect to finish the shopping before time and to collect the best dresses and jewellery for the Eid, but in reality we search for the appropriate dress for hours daily and finally get one suitable dress on Chand raat.

6. Shoes And Jewellery:

After noticing the jewellery and shoes trend of celebrities we search for the same style, but when we ask for the price, they are very high and out of our range. So we change our minds and buy an ordinary pair of shoe but show off to our friends like it’s a designer shoe. Sad story.

7. Our Choice:

Everyone gets excited about the Eid shopping and wants to choose the dress according to their style statement but in reality our mother always comes up with the baby dress we have been wearing since our childhood, simple shirt with churidaar pajama to give us a traditional look.

8. Dress On Time:

On the Eid, the tailors starts giving us a deadline for our dress, but every time when we ask them about our dress they always give excuses “kal pakka mil jayega apka suit” and when the Eid comes, all we want is to cry after seeing the designing of the dress done by our beloved tailor.

Still after all these things, we always celebrate the Eid with the zeal and zest and love to spread the happiness all around.
